Our Method
Thinknao prepares candidates for Canadian professional certification examinations. Firms put the platform in front of their own candidates, and a candidate studying alone can use the same material.
The material is written to the shape each examination authority publishes: the length of the examination, the weight each topic carries, the pass mark. A practice test built to a different shape teaches the wrong habits, so the shape is taken from the authority rather than from a writer's sense of what matters.
Every wrong answer carries the words that explain why that answer is wrong, so a mistake returns a reason rather than a mark. The language of the industry is taught where the language is used: a marked term inside a question opens the meaning in place, and the candidate returns to the question without leaving the screen. After answering, a candidate is asked whether the answer was a guess, and nothing scores that answer, which is the only reason the answer is worth anything.
The report at the end of a test is built to say more than a score. Strengths and weaknesses are named separately, because a topic answered quickly and correctly and a topic answered slowly with a guess are not the same piece of information, and a candidate cannot act on a single number.
